Politics And Everything-In-Between- Yes Means Yes: College Sexual Assault and ending the rampant culture
Explicit
October 01, 2014 05:53 PM PDT

In the wake of California's "Yes Means Yes" legislation, I am going to devote the entire show to this issue and talk about the rampant case of sexual assault on our College Campuses. This is an emotional issue for many, including me. I also get that this is a multi-fascited issue and I most certainly did not hit all the points, and haven't even scratched the surface with what needs to be said, but I think it is important that many women have an ally in this issue, and listening to this episode will let you know that I am that ally.

I also tie in the NFL domestic abuse incident and Ray Rice with this issue, because let's be honest, both the NFL and Universities are cut from the same cloth in how they handle these issues.

If you or someone you know has been a victim of sexual assault and needs help, please call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE.

Politics and Everything-In-Between- The right wing bashing Women- Sound clip edition!
Explicit
October 01, 2014 05:41 PM PDT

On this edition of Politics and Everything-In-Between it is a sound clip edition!

For a half and hour I am going to play clips from Right wingers and take them to task. The theme for this sound clip show is the Way the right wing talks about women.

For the next edition I will use more than Fox News, as Morning Joe and CNN say some pretty stupid stuff, but Fox News's (Hashtag)Outnumbered takes the cake. I think that show exists because Roger Ailes thinks that is how women talk. But most of the clips come from the show, and it is pretty terrible.

To paraphrase Bill Maher: I"ll let YOU guess which network these came from.

Enjoy!

Politics and Everything-In-Between- Ferguson, ISIS, James Foley, Morning Joe being terrible, and ranting!
Explicit
October 01, 2014 02:35 PM PDT

On this episode, I have a bunch of things to talk about.

- Updates on Ferguson and how the police are being terrible.

- ISIS grows rampant.

- James Foley is beheaded, where do we go now

- Morning Joe is terrible as usual. Their tone deaf on Ferguson. I play a clip and react to it

- And finally I rant about a couple of things.

I recorded this episode over a month ago and had not uploaded it until now. Keep in mind that this is older news, and I didn't know we were going to bomb the shit out of ISIS.

Enjoy!

On this edition, I discuss the tragic death of Robin Williams and The clash in Ferguson that is won't until the police stop with their profiling; so, never.

This is an older episode that I recorded and was not uploaded until now. Enjoy!

Politics and Everything-In-Between: The Burden of the Cost of the Higher Education
Explicit
August 03, 2014 12:50 PM PDT

On this edition of Politics and Everything-In-Between, I will look at the cost of Higher education, its impact, the effect students loans have, and advocate for free/cheap college.

I understand that this is a multi-faceted issue, and I have not even scratched the surface with the whole issue. I will continue to crusade on this issue, as it is my main mission (to get rid of Student Loan debt and make college absolutely not a burdensome thing on most of us), so expect more episodes on this topic now-and-again.

Enjoy and feel free to give (kind) feedback.

A test show. I ramble about what I want. It won't be like this, it is normally just one or two topics. Sorry for the fact that I sound like I am being held hostage. Promise my next show isn't going to sound like audio from a hostage. Enjoy!
